Dominika Tajner is the daughter of Apoloniusz Tajner, president of the Polish Ski Association in 2006-2022 and former coach Adam Małysz. She gained recognition and the sympathy of viewers thanks to her participation in such programs as: “Agent Gwiazda” (2016), “The Story OF My Life. The Story of Our Life” (2018) and “Dancing with the stars. Taniec z Gwiazdami” (2019).
Dominika’s father, after almost 40 years of marriage, separated from her mother a few years ago and became involved with Izabela Podolec. The fruit of this relationship is a 3-year-old son, Leopold.
Tajner: I experienced this divorce disastrously
Recently, Tajner told about the situation in her family. As she confessed in an interview with the magazine “Wprost”, she was 37 years old when her parents separated, and yet the divorce affected her very much.
– My dad left my mom, there was a dispute, I was 37 when they split up and I had a disastrous divorce. They have always been together for me … No matter how old you are, for every child the separation of parents is a terribly hard experience – Dominika Tajner confessed in an interview with Katarzyna Burzyńska-Sychowicz.
“Now our relationship is correct”
In the interview, there was also a question about the father’s new wife. Izabela Podolec is 13 years younger than Dominika Tajner. – I will not hide: at first I hated her and this is probably the natural first reaction of every child – said Tajner.
She also added that her parents split up when her father met Podolec, who was 36 years younger. – So it is known that I experienced it very much, everyone experienced it. Dad got hit and her… Later, we somehow earned respect for each other, after which there were more difficult moments, but now our relationship is correct. I believe that there is no point in pretending to be an artificial friendship, you need to develop a system of action based on trust – revealed Tajner.
