Some time ago in an interview with a magazine Vogue the woman told about her career and aging.
He doesn’t panic at the words “old age” or “maturity”. He’s in his 60s and celebrating it. I affirm aging. I do not rejuvenate by force, I do not try to look young, but healthy
– she said.
At the age of thirty, she was nominated for a Golden Globe for Sex, Lies and Videotape in 1989, her third film.
In 1991, after an intense time on the set of three films simultaneously, she came to the conclusion that she did not want to sacrifice herself for her career.
Motherhood has always been the most important thing for me
She raised her son and daughter close to art and far from the TV. Everyone from an early age performed on stage, went to ballet and played sports. One of her daughters, Margaret, decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps and became an actress. She played the lead role in the hit Netflix production Cleaning lady. Andie MacDowell played a supporting role there, in which she had the opportunity to play the role of her peer – today she is in her sixties.
So far, I’ve been offered roles of fifty-year-olds. I felt that by playing younger characters, I was somehow admitting that women lose their value with age

Recently, MacDowell appeared with her daughter at Fashion Week in Berlin. The Marc Cain brand show in Berlin was attended by both Polish stars – Małgorzata Foremniak, Anna Maria Sieklucka – and those of a global format. Seated in the front row was Andie MacDowell, accompanied by her 32-year-old daughter Rainey Qualley.
