Face yoga is not a demanding activity. The position in which the exercises are performed is indifferent – you can both stand and sit. It is important to do them in front of a mirror at the beginning to know if everything is done correctly. Face yoga – exercises to be performed every day for about 5 – 10 minutes, e.g.:
- open your mouth to the maximum width like a fish and close it – repeat several times;
- pronounce the vowels slowly and clearly with maximum involvement of the lips – repeat several times;
- put your hands together in a prayer position. Put your thumbs on the beginning of the eyebrow line near the nose and press for about 5 seconds. Then move along the eyebrow line to the center and press in the same way, and finally move further to the end of the eyebrow line and also press in the same way. Repeat several times;
- put your fingers at the corners of your mouth and stretch them. Hold and try to make a spout – repeat several times;
- move your lips from left to right several times, then pause – repeat several times.
Will facial yoga help with nasolabial folds?
Many people are very disturbed by the age lines that appear from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth. Unfortunately, even very conscientious face yoga for nasolabial folds will not help if we do not get rid of bad habits in the form of, for example, intense jaw clenching. So, first of all, you should learn to relax and not transfer stress to your face.
Is it possible for facial yoga to improve the chin? Again, the answer is yes!
Such positive changes in the oval of the face are possible, among others, by improving the condition of the facial muscles as well as oxygenation and lymph flow. Face yoga for the chin is a very good idea, and the exercises are not complicated. Repeat it several times a day for a few minutes.
- moving the jaw forward and relaxing the muscles so that the jaw returns to its natural position and making small, horizontal arcs with the jaw to the left and right;
- raise your chin up as if you were looking at the ceiling and make a pout, as if to kiss someone very tall – relax and repeat several times;
- look straight ahead, put your fingertips to the jawline, lift your head slowly upwards looking at the ceiling and letting your hands slowly move downwards towards your collarbones. Relax and repeat several times.
