Mexican actor Enrique Rocha, recognized for his roles as a villain, died at age 81

His voice and physical characteristics made him stand out in television productions.

On Sunday night, Mexican media announced the death of the renowned actor Enrique Rocha at the age of 81.

Rocha was known for his roles as a villain in prominent productions in the north of the continent. Óscar Espejel, the actor’s worker, confirmed the death that would have been natural, but no further details were given.

His thick voice made him stand out from other actors and he was known as Rochón. Born on January 5, 1940 in Silao Guanajuato, his death has derived messages of condolences from the acting guild.

Rocha began her acting career in Enrique Alonso’s production, La Mentira, in 1965. Her last production was in 2018 in I plead guilty.

Among the productions that stood out were The privilege of loving, The ways of love, Two women, a path; Rebelde, among others. (E)
