The Puerto Rican Salsa Lalo Rodriguez, 64 years old, was found dead this Tuesday in front of a residential building Sabana Abajo, in the municipality of Carolina, in the north of Puerto Rico.
The Puerto Rico Police reported that a call to the emergency system alerted the authorities who went to the place, where a relative of the artist identified the body.
There are no visible signs of violence in the place and it will be the autopsy, and other tests, that determine the causes of death, the Police reported in a statement.

Ubaldo Rodriguez Santosthe artist’s given name, began his musical career at the age of 12 by joining the Tempo Moderno orchestra as a singer.
At the age of 16, he made his debut as a professional singer, recording his first album with the legendary pianist of Puerto Rican origin. Eddie Palmieri, titled The Sun of the Latin Musicwhich became the first album to win an Anglo-Saxon Grammy Award in the salsa genre.
Songs like Nothing of you, wild desire, a spanish rose Y never with you were part of that album, Rodríguez recorded his second production “Unfinished Masterpiece” (1975), followed by the album “Fireworks” (1976) with Frank “Machito” Grillo’s band.
The Puerto Rican singer later worked in the production “Tommy Olivencia Introducing Lalo Rodríguez y Simón Pérez”, which earned him his second Anglo-Saxon Grammy Awardbecoming the first Latino singer to win two gramophones.
Rodríguez later formed part of the Puerto Rico All Star orchestra, with which he recorded the albums “Los profesionales” and “Tribute to the Messiah”.

The artist lived in Orlando, Florida, for about 26 years, in 1986 he married Wanda Torres, with whom he had four children: Jeramel, José Juan, Linda and Yariel.
Several scandals marked the artist’s career with episodes that they included drug addictions, excessive alcohol consumption and in 2011 he was arrested in Florida, on charges of domestic violence.
