Share short messages with followers on instagram now it will be possible with Notes, a function that the social network launched this week. The novelty was announced by Meta, the company that owns Instagram, as part of the platform’s effort to adapt to trends.
In the direct message inbox, users will find their followers’ profile photos with a text bubble above them, with the note they shared. The text can only be 60 characters and disappears after 24 hours.

This Instagram feature recreates WhatsApp states, which also allow you to share messages for 24 hours. Also, users do not receive notifications when their contacts upload a text.

Another novelty that the social network announced this week is Candid Stories or “spontaneous stories”, which aims to compete with BeReal.
