The film academy has bet on the sustainability in the Goya Awards 2023. In the next edition of the Spanish film awards, the ‘cabezones’ – gala awards – will be held with Recycled material while the red carpet and photocall They will be recycled and recyclable.

With this announcement, the institution underlines its commitment “to sustainability and respect for the environment” at the next Spanish film awards ceremony, in which, in addition, the guests of the gala will stay in hotels with LEED energy certification.

As happened last year, the technology company Creast will measure the carbon footprint of the gala through the collection and analysis of evidence in the areas of the main emissions -energy, mobility, catering, materials, waste, accommodation and water-, and will make a comparison between the environmental impact of last year’s gala and that of 2023.
