Five vehicles that you can buy in Ecuador for less than $17,000

In the country, the different automotive companies sell different types of vehicles, from compact and economical to high-end ones. Also those that use gasoline, diesel, hybrid or electric.

In the first half of 2022, 57,748 light vehicles (car, truck, SUV) were sold in Ecuador compared to the 48,427 that were sold in the first half of 2021, according to figures from the Association of Automotive Companies of Ecuador (Aeade). The types of vehicles preferred by Ecuadorians vary.

Prices vary, but you can always find cars for as little as $20,000, even much less.

In any case, take into account that many times the price with which a car is promoted can correspond to the basic version, and the cost can increase as elements are added.
