One of the methods to restore the white color of the curtains is to soak them in water with the addition of aspirin or baking powder. Just crush five aspirin tablets or pour a packet of baking powder into a bowl with 5 liters of water. Curtains should be soaked for a few hours and then washed in the washing machine.

How to whiten curtains? Use lemon juice or salt

Curtains can be bleached by other home remedies using products commonly available in most homes.

  • Salt – salt is great for yellow stains. To whiten curtains with , prepare a bowl with 5 liters of water and then add 6-7 teaspoons of salt. Soak the curtains in the mixture for at least half an hour and then wash them in the washing machine.
  • Lemon juice – it will not only give curtains a fresh scent, but will also get rid of yellowing and restore a beautiful white color. To 5 liters of water, add the juice of two and soak the curtains for about an hour.
  • Vinegar with salt – removes stains and prevents electrification. Half a glass of vinegar should be poured into 10 liters of warm water, then add 4 tablespoons of salt. Soak the curtains in the prepared mixture for several hours.
