The Venezuelan designer Carolina Herrera does not stop giving something to talk about. Her comments become fashion trends, even though the expert retired from the ateliers and the design table three years ago.
During a conversation that Herrera had with her friend Mari Rodríguez Ichaso and that was published by CNN, the 84-year-old designer clarified some of the concepts that she expressed and that have been misrepresented on social networks.
In this sense, Herrera clarified that he is not against the use of jeans, but he did reveal that he hates torn jeans, the use of bad fabrics, “really ugly” styles. He also rejects “ugly shoes”.

It also bothers him that the brand of deceased designers is used to hire new creators who create “horrible” collections that have nothing to do with the original style of the designer who created them.
He also clarified that he never said he was against the use of bathing suits for women over 40 years of age. “Look, I wore a bikini until I was 70-something years old and what I do think is important is to have a good full-length mirror in the house and before going out, take a good look at ourselves and remove what might be left over.”
