Elvis Presley’s only daughter Lisa Marie Presleyhas died this Thursday at the age of 54 after being hospitalized due to cardiac arrest.

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever met.“, has said Priscilla Presleymother of Lisa Marie, in a statement sent to the specialized celebrity magazine People.

The message comes after it was learned that the singer was in critical condition after being induced into a coma and her mother asked people on social networks to keep her “in their prayers”.

According to the American celebrity media TMZ, which also confirmed Presley’s death, on Thursday she received first aid and was assisted by paramedics at her home located in Calabasas (California) after suffering Heart problems.

Before being transferred, the medical specialists managed to recover the singer’s pulse and once she arrived at the hospital her life was assisted with a pacemaker.

This week, the daughter of the rock and roll star was seen at the Golden Globes with her mother, Priscilla Presleyas companions of the actor Austin Butlerwho won the award for best actor in a drama for his role as Elvis Presley in the Baz Luhrmann film.

Lisa Marie Presley was the only daughter of the iconic singer and mother of four children, including American actress and filmmaker Riley Keough.

Presley followed in his father’s footsteps and in 2003 released his first album, “To Whom it May Concern”and this was followed by two more productions, but since 2012 he had not released any new album.
