Three stories traversed by love, sex, unsaid things, custom and the ghosts of the past come together in the new scenic proposal that opens this Friday at the Cino Fabiani House (Las Peñas neighborhood, Numa Pompilio Llona street 196). Is about Love, sex and their mixtureswritten and directed by Iñaki Moreno.
“The relationship between these three stories is the difficulties that a relationship entails on topics that are customary not to talk about, because they are quite taboo topics, even within the couple.”, says Moreno in dialogue with this newspaper.
In the first story, frustration is the overriding feeling in navigating all possibilities to save a relationship. “It presents a woman who gives everything for their relationship to succeed, but in this case the man does nothing. So it is she who is rowing so that this does not sink”, narrates Emma Guerrerowho in this story shares the scene with lucho auz.
The second story is led by Daniela Sanchez Y valentina de abreu. It presents a critical moment in this lesbian couple, in which, after years of relationship, desire has taken on greater prominence as well as monotony. “It has been a challenge for us, because in my case I had never had the opportunity to play a character like that.”, says De Abreu.
The third story, on the other hand, promises unexpected surprises under the performances of Andrea Núñez, Henry Paladines and Moreno. The presence of a love from the past is placed as a point of conflict in this story. “I am in a current relationship (his character) and the ghost of the relationship from the past is still there. Although it is true that there are things that are not said in the couple, in this case it will happen, and this generates conflicts”, explains Paladins.
Moreno says that in this third and last story “the erotic, the macabre, the shady, the dark merge with a lot of black humor and a surprising outcome”.
For his part, Guerrero says that the public will feel identified with many of the situations included in the work. “It is a not so common play; rather it is deep and makes you think”, points.
“It is very rich to leave the work with questions (…). You leave with that intrigue, you leave with issues to resolve”, says Paladins on his side.
Moreno says that the texts arose from a personal retrospect, in which he transferred his internal questions to texts that he began to write before the pandemic. “I was going through an interesting emotional moment, not recommended, and what I did was write”, says the Spanish.
The fact that it is at Casa Cino Fabiani has a special meaning, he says, because the proximity, the atmosphere and the warmth of the place give an intimate experience to each of the functions. “It has a Cino Fabiani connotation, besides that it is a beautiful space to come; the scenery is very involved in the audience. Something I like: It has a rather cinematic look”, Moreno mentions.
This is how in these three stories, love and sex start a series of situations that will make more than one viewer reflect.
