Quevedo will release his first album on January 20

After announcing the 2023 tour dates the last December, Quevedo has revealed another piece of good news: his first album, ‘Donde quiero estar’, will be released on next january 20. the work of Canary will include 16 songs with collaborations with artists like Omar Montes, Cruz Cafuné, Myke Towers or JC Reyes. “Well people, there is nothing left for you to listen to my first album and I am very happy that it is so. What I try to show with this album is the way in which I search and find where I want to be, both from the geographical sense as from the meaning of my career”, the artist has announced on social networks.

Quevedo, who had already advanced several singles like ‘G point’, has explained that, despite the fact that the themes are not all the same, his new work is part of a concept. “There we are, the album has a meaning and a concept: perhaps the songs are not the same as each other, but they revolve around something”, he said then. The album opens with an introduction, ‘Speech’, with Cruz Cafuné, and includes songs like ‘Ahora qué’, ‘ Vista al mar’, ‘Lisbon’ or ‘Eramos dos’.On the back cover published by Quevedo, the artist can be seen from behind in front of a blue sky and some clouds.

“Is now difficult to know where to be when everything goes so fast and you don’t have time to stop and consider it. It is difficult to know if where I am is where I want to be, or if it is where I wanted to be. even when fulfilling dreams, objectives and goals; sometimes I don’t have time to enjoy it and wear others. I barely have time to keep dreaming”, he added. Quevedo, an artist from the Canary Islands, has reiterated that something that is “clear is wanting to continue on the island”.

“With mine, those who are now and have always been. It is my house, where I feel and where I lack nothing,” he added. ‘Quédate’ made Quevedo the first Spanish artist to reach the number one on Spotify Global’since in less than a day it exceeded ten million visits and also occupied the first trending position on YouTube Spain.

In 2022 he collaborated on the song ‘Cayó la noche Remix’, which managed to lead the lists of The 50 most viral Spain and Top 50 Spain. Last December the artist Pedro Luis Domínguez Quevedo, known as Quevedo, announced the first dates of his DQE Tour that will take place throughout 2023. Specifically, the concerts will be on March 11 at the Gran Canaria Arena, on May 5 at the WiZink Center in Madrid and on May 12 at the St. Jordi Club in Barcelona.
