It’s official, WhatsApp urges its chat users to send a message to themselves.

In its Twitter account, the chat network showed us the new functionality that had been talked about for several weeks.
Say 👋 to 🆕 Send yourself a message. Now you can send yourself reminders 📝, inspiration ☁️ and everything else in one easy-to-find place synced across all your devices, Twitter reads.

This is an option quite similar to Telegram’s “saved messages”. Now, our name will now appear in the contact list and we can open chat, to use the conversation as a notepad, tests or whatever we like, says the site web Xataka.
How to enable it
For its activation, the interested party must open their WhatsApp, which must be updated to version 22.23.77 and create a new chat; at that moment you will see your own contact at the top of the list. You will need to click on their name and the functionality will be ready to send a message.
This is a quick and easy way to keep track of your own tasks, expenses or the shopping list, WhatsApp gives as examples.
Until now, for a user to send messages to himself, the option for many was to create a chat with a contact and then remove it. With this new “Message Yourself” function this will no longer be necessary because the chat will be personal from the beginning. (AND)
