She is Ava Berlin Renner: Jeremy Renner’s only daughter for whom he fought a hellish custody battle with his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco

Jeremy Renner starred in a controversial moment in 2019 when he divorced his then-wife, Sonni Pacheco. The couple, who had been married for less than a year, fought over the custody of their little girl Ava Berlin Renner, who was born in March 2013.

The interpreter of “Hawkeye” in the “The Avengers” movies suffered a terrible accident this Sunday, January 1, while removing snow from the road to help a family car leave their home. And a few hours after the unfortunate moment, he posted a photo on his Instagram account, thanking the gestures of love and prayers for his recovery.

The two-time Oscar nominee fought a contentious and tough legal fight with fellow actress Sonni Pacheco after they divorced for “irreconcilable differences” in 2015, Vanity Fair wrote.

After the divorce, Renner, 51, and Pacheco, 35, shared custody of little Ava. However, in 2019, four years after their separation, the actress published accusations against the Marvel star that revolutionized Hollywood.

TMZ published the legal documents of a scandalous custody fight for Ava, who was then 6 years old. Pacheco accused the actor of having threatened to kill her and commit suicide.

The actress recounts in the documents that one night Renner got drugged and drunk, and was telling some friends that “he couldn’t deal with her anymore” and that he wanted her dead. Hours later, Renner went home and shoved a gun into her mouth threatening to commit suicide and ended up shooting at the ceiling while Ava was sleeping in her room.

Pacheco also claims that Renner has a long history of substance abuse and verbal and emotional abuse. According to the accusations, the artist would have been drunk and drugged on several occasions when he had custody of the little girl.

In addition, Pacheco assures that Renner left traces of cocaine on a bathroom shelf that was within reach of his daughter and affirms that a babysitter heard the actor say that he was going to kill his ex-wife and then commit suicide because “it was better that Ava did not have parents to have Sonni as a mother”.

Faced with his ex-wife’s accusations, Renner responded through his representative: “The well-being of his daughter Ava has always been and continues to be Jeremy’s main focus. This is a matter that depends on the decision of the court. It is important to note that the dramatizations made in Sonni’s statement are a partial version of the story with a specific goal in mind.”

The actor claimed that Pacheco’s accusations are just a way of expressing his anger that the relationship failed and claimed that she wanted to get money from the legal battle.

Likewise, Jeremy Renner was blunt in saying that he never abused drugs or alcohol and that he even underwent random analysis for three months to counter Pacheco’s allegations and that he even hired a mental health specialist to monitor his visits with Ava to prove that he is a capable and sober father.

After facing a court in 2019, the couple shares custody of little Ava, who is now 9 years old and is seen happily in the company of her parents, although the actor always hides his face. (AND)
