The “New Year’s Eve 2022” organized by Telewizja Polska constantly provided all interested parties with a lot of emotions. The day before Christmas Eve, the national broadcaster announced that this year’s foreign star would be former member of the Spice Girls band, Mel C. However, a few days later, the British singer resigned from participating in the event. Through social media, she explained her resignation by the fact that her life is guided by completely different values than those promoted by Telewizja Polska.
Instead of Mel C, the American band Black Eyed Peas, which has many hits, such as “Where Is The Love?”, “Shut Up” or “Mamacita”, decided to participate in the New Year’s Eve concert.

Their performance at “Sylwester Marzeń” was talked about for many days after the end of the event. The musicians took to the stage with rainbow armbands, showing support for the LGBT+ community.
