He does not believe that the writer played by Bullock invents her plots and requires her to lead him to the lost city described in her latest book. He takes her to an island somewhere on the other end of the world – and the fun begins.
In 2016, one of the biggest sensations of the American Sundance festival was the film “Panknife Man” with Daniel Radcliffe as a corpse that becomes a life raft at the same time. It’s a story about Hank, abandoned on a deserted island, who unexpectedly notices a man on the shore of the sea – as it turns out, he is dead… which in turn turns out to be his great advantage. The survivor uses the body as a life raft. Along the way, he gets along with the deceased enough to name him Manny. When they reach the mainland, Hank feels very lost, so he drags Manny’s corpse everywhere with him – their journey through the jungle together is accompanied by a whole lot of absurd adventures. The title of the film is not accidental, because Manny really can do a lot of amazing things.
One of Radcliffe’s most recent roles is in the series Miracle Workers, which, to put it mildly, deals with the work and problems of angels. In each of the three seasons, Daniel plays a different character – most recently he played the role of pastor Ezekiel Brown.
