After more than 1,500 performances, it arrives in Ecuador for the first time El Pelón in his angry times!, stand up comedy starring Héctor Suárez Gomiz, better known as El Pelón. In this monologue, the Mexican actor mocks and criticizes how they have educated all Latin Americans. Released in 2008, Suárez, son of the late Mexican actor Héctor Suárez H., takes a journey through his life and with great sarcasm tells how he survived after living for years with parents who had a more dysfunctional relationship than the politicians. The play presents a future wife of feminist convictions, a conservative-thinking mother, the best friend who believes in astrology and a wedding planner of experienced life. This comedy shows Sofia, played by Luciana Grassi, during the final fitting of her wedding dress along with her mother, Elena (Itzel Cuevas), a supporter of traditional families, along with her best friend and maid of honor, Titi (Carolina Piechestein), guided by the marriage organizer, Miss Garza (Carolina Jaume), who is interested in the promising commission for her work. From the award-winning Guayaquil playwright José Miguel Flores, A happy ending tells the story of Lucía, a woman trapped in the ruins of her memory, an unreal and abstract space from which she can only escape when she imagines Óscar, who one day was her great love. The work is a reflection on the desire to live and the emptiness that forgetfulness, lost love and the uncertainty of the afterlife leave us. Direction: Henry Silva.
