A double pension is possible, but the Social Insurance Institution can pay only one benefit. To obtain a second one, one more application must be submitted to another office. Moreover, it will only be granted in three cases.

People who have worked abroad can count on a double pension
People who legally worked abroad (i.e. paid contributions) belong to the first group that has a chance for a double benefit every month. In this case, the application must be submitted not only to the -u, but also to the pension authority in the state where they worked. It should only be noted that depending on the country, the retirement age or the required length of service may be different than in Poland.
Double pension for uniformed. Not everyone will get it
Also uniformed services may receive double benefits from ZUS and the Pension and Disability Institution of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration (ZER MSWiA). This is due to the fact that it is impossible to determine the amount of the uniformed pension taking into account the time spent working as a civilian. Remember, however, that the second pension is available only to those officers who joined the service after January 2, 1999, and after its completion undertook work in civilian clothes. Other retired soldiers must choose one benefit that will be more profitable for them.
Double pension for people who paid contributions to KRUS
Farmers who paid contributions to both ZUS and the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) can also count on a double pension. Importantly, the latter must be completed for at least 25 years in the case of men and 20 years in the case of women in order to be positively considered.
