How much does Netflix cost? For now, there is no cheaper option with ads in Poland

You need a subscription to access Netflix productions. Many users have so far shared costs between friends and extended family using one account. However, the bosses of the platform want to curb these practices and are already urging people to set up their own accounts. At the end of last year, Netflix viewers also in Poland noticed a message on their screens stating that sharing a profile with people outside the account owner’s household is against the service’s regulations.

How much does Netflix cost? The cheapest subscription costs PLN 29 per month

Netflix has offered its users an option to easily transfer a profile. Thanks to it, people connecting to the account from outside their own household can transfer it without losing personal data such as viewing history, “my list” or other settings and recommendations assigned to the user.

There are three packages available on Netflix. The cheapest of them costs PLN 29 per month, and the most expensive, which allows, among others, watch movies and series in 4K Ultra HD quality for PLN 60 per month:

• Basic package: PLN 29/month – access to the entire offer in HD quality (720p) on one device at a time
• Standard Package: PLN 43/month – access to the entire offer in Full HD (1080p) quality and the ability to watch on two devices simultaneously
• Premium package: PLN 60/month – access to the entire offer in 4K Ultra HD quality and the ability to watch simultaneously on four devices

Although Netflix in the United States, Brazil, Japan or Germany currently offers a cheaper subscription with ads, such a solution has not yet been introduced in Poland. How much is Netflix there? In countries where this option is available, a monthly subscription is roughly half the price of an ad-free subscription. In return for a lower fee, you have to reckon with the fact that while watching the program, 15-30 second spots will appear, which in total can last about four-five minutes.
