Not only dogs lick
This urban legend is located in a small town in France. The protagonist is a 9-year-old girl, the daughter of a high-class marriage, well-connected in political matters. This is why her parents, with an intense social life, decided to buy the girl a dog to protect her and keep her company during her absences at dinners, parties and so on. The dog took up the habit of sleeping under the bed of her little girl and, when she got night fears, he would drop her hand and then the dog would lick it to calm her down.
One night, after hearing some noises at home during one of her parents’ absences, the girl got scared and, as usual, dropped her hand and her faithful companion began to lick it until she calmed down. However, when she got out of bed hours later, she discovered her pet dismembered in the living room and a graffiti made with her blood on the wall, which read: “Not only dogs lick.”

Legend of Bloody Mary
Many many years ago a girl named Mary fell ill and died. In these times many people suffered from catalepsy although it was not known what it was (an “apparent death” due to rigidity of the body and not being able to move) for this reason people were buried with a rope tied to a bell placed on the outside of the coffin.
Mary’s family did so as usual. But Mary woke up pulled the rope and no one came to her call. The next day they went to watch her and discovered the bell on the ground, they dug it up and found that she had no fingernails because she had broken them fighting to get out of the coffin. This turned Mary into an enraged ghost. Before she died, she cast a curse and they say that if you stand in front of a mirror and pronounce her name three times, a girl appears to you while in the background you hear the sound of a bell.
The Graveyard Challenge
Several teenagers had gone to spend the night at a friend’s house, taking advantage of the fact that their parents were away. When the lights went out they began to talk about an old man who had just been buried in a nearby cemetery. It was said that he had been buried alive and that he could be heard clawing at the coffin, trying to get out.
One of the girls scoffed at that idea, so the others challenged her to get up and go visit the grave. As proof that she had gone, she had to drive a wooden stake into the earth of the grave. The girl left and her friends turned off the light again and waited for her to come back.
But an hour passed, and another, without any word from her friend. They lay awake in bed, growing more and more terrified. Morning came and the girl had not appeared. That same day, the girl’s parents returned home and, together with the rest of the parents, went to the cemetery. They found the girl lying on the grave… Dead. In reaching down to drive the stake into the ground, she had also caught the hem of her skirt. When she tried to get up and couldn’t, she believed that the dead old man had grabbed her. She died of fright on the spot. (AND)
