Christmas desserts: How to make dairy-free keto hot chocolate?

For many, dietary restrictions could leave you feeling left out of traditional holiday meals. Therefore, the cafeteria Prot Inn since 2021 it is presenting its Christmas menu Taste the Xmas that excludes dairy, gluten and refined sugars for a more nutritious diet on these dates and without missing out on the taste of festive flavors.

The initiative is from David Pareja, CEO and founder of Prot Inn. “We want to break that myth that healthy is not rich, on the contrary it can be delicious and nutritious at the same time. What we do is replace bad ingredients with good ones, for example, we don’t use sugar, we use non-caloric sweeteners, we don’t use wheat flour but oat flour or almond flour to avoid gluten. And we avoid using cow’s milk, but rather vegetable milk and healthy fats if possible”.

Keto Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

• A high quality sugar free chocolate bar
• A tablespoon of organic cocoa powder
• Almond, oat, coconut milk (your choice) – amount to taste
• 10 drops of Stevia

Preparation

• In a container we place the chocolate, a tablespoon of organic cocoa powder, the drops of stevia and hot water.
• Once we have the chocolate base, we heat the milk over medium heat for 2 minutes and add it to a cup.
• As an additional tip, the Prot Inn chef suggests thickening the hot milk with an immersion blender before mixing with the other ingredients to achieve a creamier point, if desired to your liking.
