We already saw ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, the new Marvel Studios film that balances delicately between good and evil, between life and death

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever can officially be counted among the sequels that surpass the original.

Directed by ryan cooglerthe tape 161 minutes long pays tribute from minute one to actor Chadwick Bosemanwho embodied Black Panther in the 2018 moviewhile preparing the way to relate how his departure will affect the rest of his family in fiction: her mother (Queen Ramonda, played by Angela Bassett) and her younger sister, Princess Shuri (Letitia Wright), a feeling that will become the spirit of the whole plot.

the intro of the moviein which Marvel Studios usually show their best-known heroes, are dedicated exclusively to Boseman and, unlike other productions, no melody accompanies them; in a kind of minute of silence in honor to the actor who passed away in August 2020. We will tell only that detail so that the viewer approaches the tone, almost solemn, with which a former avenger is fired.

Although the tape incorporates new faces (which have generated expectation since the first trailer), Ángela Bassett and Letitia Wright prove to be strong enough actresses –and with such well-constructed characters– that they can carry the start on their own Of the plot.

The director has ensured that the public experiences their mourning together with them and his struggle to find his place in the world after the departure of the beloved king T’challa (Boseman). Can the Black Panther return without him? Still without an official protector, Queen Ramonda looks like a hero without a cape and without super strength.but with the determination of a born warrior and leader. What great scenes he gives us on behalf of Wakanda!

With them, Wakanda itself becomes a leading country, showing us more of its landscapes, its peoples and how the nation presents itself to the world. under the leadership of her sovereign, while other powers begin to covet the great treasure of the land of the Black Panther: vibranium (material with which it was built, for example, Captain America’s shield).

Who is the villain and who is the hero? It is another of the questions that the public will face, especially after the presentation of Namor (Tenoch Huerta)the leader of a beautiful kingdom hidden in the depths of the ocean and who, like any nation, it struggles to maintain its peace and ensure its survival.

The alert raised by Namor allows the appearance of another figure highly anticipated by fans: Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), whom many already identify as Iron Heart, the young genius from MIT who follows (in a way) in the footsteps of Tony Stark to build himself a battle suit! And he also has a very Jarvis-esque virtual assistant (Hombre de Hierro2008)!

The feminine force dominates the filmeven from the darkest actions with a guest who arrives directly from the Serie The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Disney Plus, 2021). This is one of the productions that fans, in order to better understand the premiere of the new film, should already put on their list, as well as Black Panther (2018) and Avengers: Infinity War /2018) and end game (2019), then Only then will the production revelations cause the impact desired by Marvel Studios.

For example, we will just say that the presence of Michael B. Jordan (Killmonger) on the purple carpet of the Los Angeles premiere was not a coincidence.

When the threats against Wakanda worsen, Shuri will no longer have much time to cry or get over her grief and instead you should rush to strengthen the defense (or revenge?) of his nation.

Marvel Studios thus closes 2022 with a production that brilliantly spins the meaning of life and death, good and evil, justice and rancorof forgiveness and healing, especially with a post-credit scene that reveals another pillar in the future of his Cinematic Universe. We are sure of that after this premiere, all the debts that Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studiosmay have with the fans who have criticized other of his recent productions will be more than settled.

Note: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever officially premieres in Latin America on Thursday, November 10. In Guayaquil, take into account the schedules for the curfew starting at 9:00 p.m. The last functions will be until 17:00, for the duration of the film.
