Euskaraz irakurri: Agortu dira Hertzainak taldeak urtarrilaren 6an Gasteizen eskainiko duen azken kontzerturako sarrerak
The tickets for the band’s final farewell concert hertzainak, on January 6 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, have been sold out this Monday, according to sources from the organization. The festival, which will mean the withdrawal of the Álava formation from the stages, will be held at the Mendizabala venue, under the title “Azkena gure alde!”.
For these final concerts, the one in the Álava capital and those already held on December 16 and 17 at the BEC in Barakaldo, the formation has once again been made up of three of its historical members, the singer Gari, the keyboardist Josu Zabala and the drums Luis Javier Saiz txanpi.
Tickets went on sale on November 30 on the band’s website and as the members themselves explained in the concert presentation, they will be accompanied in this final performance by 15 artists of different styles and generations.
The members of Hertzainak explained that in this last show they hope to “relive the emotions” of the last concerts offered in 2019. “It all started in Gasteiz and here we had to say goodbye once and for all,” they said on November 24.
The capacity of the tent that will be set up for the occasion in Mendizabala is approximately 20,000 people, which will make this concert one of the largest of its kind that the capital of Alava has hosted.
The venue where the concert will be held will open at 7:00 p.m. on January 6. At 8:00 p.m. the performances by invited artists will begin, and at 10:00 p.m. Hertzainak themselves will take the stage.
On December 16 and 17, the band from Alava offered their penultimate concerts at the BEC and they did not disappoint. A packed BEC from Barakado paid homage-farewell to the mythical group of Gari, Zabala and txanpi. EITB offered the presentation on Friday live.
