Universal Pictures just prepared a new feature film for the franchise slasher Halloween, whose films (12) focus on the psycho killer michael myers. The next installment is titled Halloween Ends (Halloween: The Final Night) which is a tribute to Jamie Lee Curtis’s last appearance as Laurie Strode.

In a recent nearly two-minute clip, Curtis is shown behind the scenes of Halloween Ends and it begins with her saying: “Welcome back, Laurie Strode. She gave it all, his heart, his soul, his blood. But that bubble has burst because Michael is coming back,” suggesting that the series finale will be bloody and dramatic.
The rest of the short video offers brief glimpses of Jamie on set, including doing her hair and makeup, joking around with the film crew, and finally saying goodbye to the cast and crew. “It will be hard to say goodbye to Laurie Strode. Curtis has played Laurie Strode for almost 45 years. The Halloween franchise is one of the longest running horror movie franchises in movie historyand her portrayal of Laurie is one of the longest instances in which the same actor has portrayed a character.

Halloween Ends takes place four years after the events of Halloween Killsand follow Laurie and her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak), who is writing his memoirs. The film will be released on Friday, October 14, and will also be available to stream exclusively on Peacock (all US). In Ecuador, the film will have a preview on Wednesday, October 12, according to information from Cinemark and Supercines.
