Euskaraz irakurri: Hertzainak taldearen lehen agur-kontzertuak ez du kale egin
Basque rock music group hertzainak has offered this past night, with great success, the first concert of his farewell mini-tour from the stages “Azkena gure alde!”. A packed BEC in Barakado paid homage-farewell to the mythical group from Gari, Josu Zabala and txanpiwho will offer this Saturday a second chance to see them live with another concert in the same place. You can see here at EITB Nahieran the complete concert by Hertzainak.
To the delight of all the attendees, the group interpreted the best known songs, among them, “Aitormena”, “Ta zer ez da berdin”, “Pakean utzi arte” and “Hil ezazu aita”. In an environment like no other, both in the stands and on the track, it was three songs above all that unleashed the euphoria of the publicmost of whom were over 40 years old: “Rock and roll batzokian” (at the beginning of the concert), “564” and “Guantanamera”.
As usual in this type of event, social networks reflected the enthusiasm of the attendees, and there were many people who shared videos or lyrics of the songs, also well-known people, among them, the bertsolari Jon Maia either the president of Topagunea Kike Amonarriz:

The work of the members of the group has been intense during the last days, immersed in preparations and rehearsalsand EITB Media witnessed it:
It is not the first time that the group shows its intention to leave the stage: already in 1993, Gari with “Gaur Egun” on Hertzainak’s goodbyeand justified its end “by exhaustion and the limits of the market”:
After a 41-year career, the group will play their last chords in the third and last concert of their farewell tour on January 6, in a tent installed in Mendizorrotza, in Vitoria-Gasteiz. It will be a last gift from Kings where the group from Alava will put the finishing touch to a career started in that same place. In total, almost 50,000 people will have enjoyed the three concerts by Hertzainak, a group with its own name and place in the history of Basque rock and pop.
