The San Sebastian Jazz Festival has announced part of the lineup for its 58th edition, and has put tickets and season tickets on sale for Plaza de la Trinidad, the Kursaal Auditorium, the San Telmo Museum and the Victoria Eugenia Theatre.
The composer, pianist, guitarist and singer Norah Jones will perform on July 22 at the Kursaal Auditorium, thus fulfilling one of the old wishes of the San Sebastian event. The jazz pianist Kenny Barron will be in charge of inaugurating this stage the day before, July 21, accompanied by the Youth Orchestra of Euskal Herria.
On the 23rd, the Kursaal will host the Ben Harper concert, while on Wednesday, July 24, the giant Pat Metheny will occupy that stage, with the Side Eye project.
Finally, on Tuesday, July 25, the singer Rocío Márquez will perform accompanied by the musician and producer Bronquio.
Trinity Square
Enrico Rava, Abdullah Ibrahim and Bill Frisell will perform on this special stage, as well as guitarists Julian Lage, Joss Stone and Nubya Garcia, and Austrian keyboardist David Helbock with the Austrian Syndicate group.
San Telmo Museum
The 58th edition of Jazzaldia will program a cycle dedicated to Japanese pianists in the space cloister: Yosuke Yamashita, in two concerts, Kento Tsubosaka, Hakuei Kim and Eri Yamamoto.
Tickets for all these concerts will go on sale on December 15 from 11:30 a.m., and can be purchased online and at the box office.
