In October 2012, the Ecuadorian filmmaker Ivan Mora Manzano premiere No fall, no spring film that portrays the lives of nine middle-class young people from Guayaquil. This year the film celebrates 10 years of having reached the big screen and to celebrate this anniversary cinemascape cinema club, of the University of the Arts, You have prepared an activity.
This Wednesday, in the MZ14 room, a forum will be held with some of the actors and production staff to remember this film. In the activity will participate Andrés Crespo, Alejandro Fajardo, Paulina Obrist, Nata Cassette, Ángela Peñaherrera, Vicente Santos and the producer Cynthia Velasco.
The film features Lucas (Enzo Macchiavello), one of the youngsters and a law student, who has his own ideology, which he calls “anarchy of the imagination.” When he sees his ideologies collapsed, he falls into an addiction to sleeping pills. On the other hand, there is Paula, who sells the pills; her life is marked by the absence of her father and a physical condition that plunges her into pain. Their lives intersect to start a new story. And so other characters from the punk scene are also part of the plot.
The film was shot in Guayaquil, picking up some of its corners, such as Urdesa, the alley of the San Francisco 300 building with the background of the Rendón Seminario mural and other spaces in La Perla.
