She changed them about every two weeks, because as the swelling went down, they didn’t fit her anymore. “They are itchy and scratchy and I can barely breathe in them, but the swelling and redness are gone now and they are extremely helpful.” she confessed. Every six weeks, he also undergoes laser treatments that are supposed to reduce the appearance of scars.
Unfortunately, April suffered more than just physical damage. For a long time she was afraid to leave the house, although she was a “party girl” type. Sharing her story on Instagram got her a lot of support, which allowed her to open up to people again.
