Euskaraz irakurri: Sustrai Colina nagusitu da Irungo finalaurrekoan
Sustrai Colina was the best in the third semifinal of the Euskal Herria Bertsolaris Championship held this Saturday at Ficoba in Irun, which was attended by more than 2,500 bertsozales. The bertsolari from Urruña has thus managed to advance to the next round, and will participate in the tie to be held on November 26 in Baiona.
Responding to the themes proposed by Maialen Belarra, Colina has won with 710 points, thanks to the work done in 8ko handia, 8ko txikia and, especially, in the bertsos of the cabin. In second position she has been Nerea Ibarzabal, with 673 points, and third was Jone Uria, with 660.5. Behind, in this order, were Miren Artetxe (644.5), Maddalen Arzallus (635) and Ane Labaka (631.5).
Five women and one man participated in today’s semifinal, and that female presence has been noted from the beginning. As Ane Labaka has said, “today no one is ‘the girl from the recital'”.
On the jury have been, as has happened throughout the phase, Ainhoa Arregi, Bakarne Urreaga, Ekaitz Elorriaga, Eneritz Azkue, Joseba Beltza, Joseba Santxo and Maialen Berra.
The next appointment, in Durango
The fourth and last round of the semifinals will be held in Landako de Durango (Bizkaia) next week, on November 12, at 5:00 p.m.
Contrary to what happened today, there will be more men who will participate. The bertsolaris who will take the Landako stage will be Aitor Mendiluze, Beñat Gaztelumendi, Aitor Bizkarra, Eñaut Martikorena, Julio Soto and Saioa Alkaiza.
