“KILL EM” provides a burst of energy
This year is a period of hard work for the manufacturer. At the beginning of the year, he released his first solo single since 2020, “Let’s Do It Again”. In addition, he became involved in the production of the debut solo album of his friend from the band The xx – Oliver Sim. The album is called “Hideous Bastard” and Jamie also remixed the track “GMT” from the album.
British DJ’s new single is a song directly inspired by the annual London event he has participated in since he was a teenager. It sounds as if it was specially created for great events, where music should be played from huge speakers at full blast.
“KILL DEM” introduces the spirit of the party in us and makes us become like an unbridled element. All thanks to the looped drums, sharp transitions or cut vocals that make common sense give way and you only think about madness on the dance floor.
Certainly, this is the song that Jamie xx would like to use to keep a street full of people moving. He also played it pre-premiere on September 9 in Poland during the On Air Festival at the Bemowo Airport in Warsaw. Though the weather was unfavorable at the time, Jamie’s set made the temperature of each festival goer rise by dancing and jumping to the beat of the music.
