One of the festival participants described Gazeta.pl her impressions from the first day of the event. As he notes, the festival area is very extensive, which is particularly troublesome in the heat of Thursday. In the West Pomeranian Voivodeship today it was 32 to 35 degrees. On Friday, August 5, the temperature is expected to be between 28 and 32 degrees. It is worth bearing in mind that on the night from Friday to Saturday, a colder front will begin to approach from the north-west. Therefore, rainfall is to be expected – however, preliminary forecasts show that storms will bypass this region. During the weekend it will be a maximum of 19 to 21 degrees.

Festival participants advise you to equip yourself with the right amount of water. It is also worth wearing bright clothes and remember to wear a hat or sunglasses. The organizers themselves also remind about the same. – The atmosphere is wonderful. The heat did not thwart our plans. There are also appeals all the time to wear a hat and remember to drink water – says Gazeta.pl, one of the festival goers.

As the reader of Gazeta.pl says, on the very first day, a crowd of people came to the festival – the attendance may be similar to that from before the coronavirus epidemic, when there were restrictions also on the organizers of outdoor events. The crowd of people also means big queues, which must be reckoned with during all such events. – It’s not that bad though. People are nice and the atmosphere is also nice – says the reader who was waiting in one of the lines to the nearby Lidl.

At the inauguration of the festival, participants brought sunflowers, which are a symbol of Ukraine. This gesture was noticed by Jurek Owsiak, who turned to the festival-goers after his oath. – Beloved, remember – we live on the same planet, we live on the same earth. And this land is also our common land in these days when we look so beautiful, so wonderful. This is Poland! Let us take care of it and tell all people that this is how we should live, this is how we should live with each other. Let us be friendly to each other, kind, cordial! This country is made of us, people like you. I love you very much for that! – said the president of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
