What does a tick look like? It is easy to recognize

they belong to the group of arachnids, and therefore resemble a small spider. Adult females are approximately 3-4 mm long, while males are approximately 2.5 mm long. Not only mature individuals drink blood. At each stage of its development, the larvae, nymphs and imago, i.e. in the mature form, must suck the blood of the vertebrate at least once. The mouth organ of this creature is adapted to suck blood and has numerous teeth to help it stay in the host’s skin. That is why its removal can be so difficult. Additionally, they often transmit serious diseases such as:

  • Lyme borreliosis,
  • tick-borne encephalitis,
  • sporadically Q fever,
  • tularemia,
  • bartonellosis,
  • babesiosis,
  • ehrlichiosis (anaplasmosis),
  • rickettsiosis from the group of spotted fever.

Preparation instructions:

  • Boil the whole thing.
  • When the stock starts to boil, reduce the heat and cook for 30 minutes.
  • After this time, the color of the water should be red. Leave it to cool down.
  • Then it should be poured into the garden sprayer.
  • Sprinkle the decoction on the entire garden, focusing not only on trees, but also on bushes and taller plants, as well as on grass.
