Castor oil – when to use?

Castor oil has a wider range of uses than just care. It soothes irritations, thanks to which wounds heal more easily and reduces back pain and joint pain. As a hair cosmetic, it is dedicated to people who want to obtain a smooth, healthy-looking surface. It also helps when we want to accelerate their growth, and as you know, this process can be lengthy and cumbersome. How to use castor oil on hair – how to apply it?

Since castor oil is quite thick on its own, it’s best to dilute it with another hair product, such as shampoo or coconut oil, before applying. After oiling and wrapping the head with foil or a towel, we leave the product for a period of time depending on how much our hair needs it individually – a few hours or even overnight. You can also prepare a mask in the ratio of 3 teaspoons of castor oil and a teaspoon of argan or jojoba oil and massage it in for a few minutes. Fans of traditional grandma’s ways can combine the oil with egg yolk and lemon juice. It is recommended to leave the mixture on the hair for about half an hour.
