Ecuadorian businessmen, among them Isabel Noboa, president of Nobis Investment Holdingand from all over Ibero-America will analyze the economic, commercial, business and investment news in the region in the fifth edition of the Ibero-American Business Congress, under the title ‘Innovation and opportunities in times of uncertainty’, which will be held on June 1 and 2 in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic).
The congress is organized by the Alliance for Ibero-America Business Council (CEAPI)an association formed by 190 entrepreneurspresidents of the leading Ibero-American companies, whose mission is to value the role of the entrepreneur and his impact on society, promoting social commitment and sustainability.

The event will be inaugurated by the Dominican president, Luis Abinader, and will bring together presidents of leading companies and business families, as well as important institutional representatives of Ibero-America, focusing on the challenges and opportunities facing the region at a time of significant change and uncertainty, after the enormous economic impact and in the region of the COVID-19 crisis.
To present the event in the country, the president of CEAPI, Nuria Vilanovaarrived in Ecuador where he met with the Minister of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries, Julio José Prado; analysts such as Pablo Lucio Paredes, as well as with important businessmen in the country to detail the objectives, the first that CEAPI carries out outside of Spain.
During the meeting with the president of CEAPI in Quito, Minister Prado highlighted: “Ecuador is opening up to the world. We hope to have between 3 and 4 new trade agreements before the end of the year, five billion investment contracts have been signed that will generate around 130,000 new jobs”. And he added that without a doubt “we are in a moment of openness and opportunity.”
Meanwhile, in addition to Noboa, the congress will feature speakers from all over Ibero-America such as Jaime Gilinski, president and owner of the Gilinski Group (CO); Giannina Fasanelli Cavallazzi, president of the Family Office Simoniz Latam; Simón Borrero, CEO and co-founder of RAPPI; Felipe A. Vicini, president of INICIA and president of the V CEAPI Congress; Frank Rainieri, president of Grupo Punta Cana (DR); and Dionisio Gutiérrez, president of the Fundación Libertad y Desarrollo (GT).
