This Friday, the audit of Petroperú’s financial statements corresponding to 2021 was launched.
The day was marked by the meeting between the officials of the Price Waterhouse Coopers Audit Society (PwC), the Comptroller General of the Republic and Petroperú.
In this sense, from PwC they welcomed the disposition of the new administration of the state company, alleging that it will contribute to the correct execution and completion of the audit.
It is worth emphasizing that the short report of the financial statements will be presented in August of this year.
In this regard, Humberto Campodónico, president of the Petroperú board of directors, pointed out that the audit of the financial statements has been contributing to the recovery of the confidence of creditors, bondholders, clients, banks, risk rating agencies, among others; as well as to recover short-term lines of credit to continue firmly. In addition to boosting the financial stabilization and strengthening of the corporate governance of the state firm.
