Aranburu has defended the labor and social equitythe dignity of care and some policies made from Euskal Herria without following the government of Pedro Sánchez. The general secretary of LAB has highlighted that “we need a social debate on redistribution, preventing the consequences from falling again on the backs of the workers”.

In this sense, he has announced that LAB “will not accept or participate in a rent agreement that supposes accepting the loss of purchasing power of the workers”, as the Government of Sánchez has proposed.

The nationalist union is clear that this situation is not a consequence “neither of the pandemic nor of the war in Ukraine”, but is only attributable to capitalism after “decades of neoliberal policies”. Aranburu has advocated working from its own labor code and its own social security law.

He also highlighted that the public coffers could collect 500 million euros more if tax changes were made to companies.
