The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) closed the day on Monday, March 21 with gains in its main indices, with 13 indicators in green and 3 in red. So the index S&P/BVL Peru General, the most representative of the Lima stock market, rose 1.20% to 25,380.82 points.
Similarly, the index S&P/BVL Peru Selectivewhich is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, also increased by 1.29% and was placed at 662.84 units.
The earnings of the day were led by the mining sector that grew 2.56%, followed by financial with 0.33%, services and electricity, both with 0.67% and industrial with 0.26%. On the other hand, the items that closed the day with losses were construction and consumption with -0.16% and -0.11%, respectively.
The shares that rose the most within the local index were: Trevali Mining (6.42%), Candente Copper (5.88%), Scotiabank Peru (4.00%) and Buenaventura (3.17%). While those that fell the most were Pomalca (-8.33%), Rimac (-6.98%) and Cerro Verde (-2.17%).
