After a month, Senae again presents an interruption in its services

Almost a month after several services of the National Customs Service of Ecuador (Senae) failed and remained interrupted between February 16 and 17, the institution once again presents problems in foreign trade services.

Customs experiences drop in services due to a ‘technological infrastructure problem’

This Saturday morning, Senae reported, through a statement, that it experiences the interruption of its Ecuapass service, which the institution classified as a “severe intermittence of the system.”

The Ecuapass is the Ecuadorian customs system that will allow foreign trade operators to carry out all their import and export customs operations.

The entity assured that the service is expected to be restored in the next few hours, however, until then, it assured that they continue to streamline the processes through operational exits, this “to guarantee that operations in Ecuadorian commerce are not affected.”

Last February, Senae reported that the damage was due to technological infrastructure problems, however, on this occasion, the entity has not specified the nature of the problems so far.
