The slogan of the campaign, “Bizit Euskadi”, unites the concepts “visit” (to visit in English) and “bizi” (life in Basque) to invite people to live a “unique” experience.

The Basque Government is going to launch a campaign of tourism promotion for the upcoming Holy Week in which visitors are encouraged to get to know, but above all to “live” Euskadi during their stay.

The Minister of Tourism, Commerce and Consumption of the Autonomous Executive, Javier Hurtadohas presented this Thursday the tourist campaign for the upcoming April holidays aimed primarily at “the national visitor”, but also at the public in the south of France and Portugal.

The slogan of the campaign, “Bizit Euskadi”unites the concepts “visit” (to visit in English) and “bizi” (life in Basque) to invite you to live a “unique” experience.

“With this mainly audiovisual campaign we show the Euskadi that we are, a plural Euskadi, with a large richness and variety tourist, with gastronomy internationally recognized and an environment that offers us an immense diversity of plans in just two hours away”, said the counselor.

Hurtado added that the campaign is also intended to show “the strength” of tourism in the Basque Country, “sustainable and responsible, respectful of the environment and that wants to make its visitors feel as part of it.”

In this sense, he stressed that the Basques want to make visitors feel like “one more, because that is the best way for them to want to return and become authentic ambassadors”. “We want them to live Euskadi”has sentenced.
