MVCS transfers S / 294,703 to give water to those affected by the coastal El Niño phenomenon

The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) announced a transfer of S / 294,703 so that families in shelters in the Piura region that were displaced due to the coastal El Niño phenomenon have potable water service.

The transfer of money in favor of the Service Provider Entity (EPS) Grau will ensure the supply of drinking water by means of tanker trucks to the families of the shelters at kilometers 974, 978 and 980 of the Panamericana Norte highway, in the district of Cura Mori, Piura province and region.

Through Ministerial Resolution 344-2021-HOUSING It is specified that the resources will be used exclusively for water distribution activities and may not be used for purposes other than those mentioned.

The National Urban Sanitation Program (PNSU) of the MVCS will be responsible for the monitoring, follow-up and fulfillment of the goals for which the transfer is made.
