Lima Stock Exchange closed at -0.52% and with most of its indicators in red

The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) closed the day on Tuesday, March 15 with losses in its main indices, with 12 indicators in red and 4 in green. Thus, the S&P/BVL Peru General indexthe most representative of the Lima stock market, fell -0.52% to 24,301.03 points.

Similarly, the S&P/BVL Peru Selective Indexwhich is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, lost -0.42% and stood at 634.49 units.

The day’s gains were led by the consumer sectors with 0.21%, services and electricity both grew by 0.14%. On the other hand, the items that closed the day with losses were construction with a drop of -1.19%, mining with -1.02%, industrial with -0.84% ​​and financial with -0.23%.

The shares that rose the most within the local index were: PPX Mining (+3.23%), Luz del Sur (+3.13%) and Telefónica (+2.09%). While those that fell the most were Nexa Resources Atacocha (-7.35%), Panoro Minerals (-4.67%) and Cerro Verde (-4.00%).
