The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) closed the day on Tuesday, March 15 with losses in its main indices, with 12 indicators in red and 4 in green. Thus, the S&P/BVL Peru General indexthe most representative of the Lima stock market, fell -0.52% to 24,301.03 points.
Similarly, the S&P/BVL Peru Selective Indexwhich is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, lost -0.42% and stood at 634.49 units.
The day’s gains were led by the consumer sectors with 0.21%, services and electricity both grew by 0.14%. On the other hand, the items that closed the day with losses were construction with a drop of -1.19%, mining with -1.02%, industrial with -0.84% and financial with -0.23%.
The shares that rose the most within the local index were: PPX Mining (+3.23%), Luz del Sur (+3.13%) and Telefónica (+2.09%). While those that fell the most were Nexa Resources Atacocha (-7.35%), Panoro Minerals (-4.67%) and Cerro Verde (-4.00%).
