The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) closed the day on Monday, March 14 with losses in its main indices, with 13 indicators in red and only 1 in green. So the index S&P/BVL Peru Generalthe most representative of the Lima stock market, fell -1.40% to 24,428.72 points.
Similarly, the index S&P/BVL Peru Selectivewhich is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, lost -1.77% and stood at 637.16 units.
The gain of the day was led by the financial sector that grew 1.17%. On the other hand, the items that closed the day with losses were mining with -4.96%, industries with -0.97%, construction with -0.68% and consumption with -0.28%. Services and electricity remained unchanged.
The shares that rose the most within the local index were: Casa Grande (1.59%), Coril Renta Prime (1.08%) and Credicorp (0.99%). While those that fell the most were Compañía de Minas Buenaventura (-6.61%), Southern Copper (-6.34%) and Nexa Resources (-6.25%).
