Petroperú will execute social projects in native communities for more than S/ 5,000 million

Petroperu and the Native Federation of the Awajún del Río Apaga (Fenara), together with the Organization of Indigenous Peoples and Campesinos of Alto Marañón (Orpicam) of Loreto, signed agreements on actions of reciprocal interest.

It is worth emphasizing that the communities in question group together those surrounding the Norperuano Pipeline.

In this sense, the state oil company promised to finance the technical files and the construction of seven community halls in the communities of Borja, Nueva Alegría, Capernaum, Pachacutec, Belén, Atahualpa and Nueva Soledad, as well as the administrative headquarters of Fenara. and Orpicam.

In this regard, the chairman of the board of directors of Petroperú, Mario Contreras Ibarcenamore than S/ 5,000 million will be invested after signing the agreements with the native communities.

Finally, he explained that a comprehensive program to improve leadership skills will be implemented for six months for the development of conditions of governance, coexistence and social well-being in the communities of datem del Marañón.
