Banco Guayaquil has a new version of apps available in Apple, Android and Huawei stores. The change was based on listening to the opinions of the clients, where more than 10,000 comments were analyzed on its quality platform and in-depth interviews were carried out with clients to learn about the different use cases that they give to the application, this was complemented with the feedback of all the Bank’s collaborators, who have permanent contact with clients, and know their main challenges. “We listen to your every word and suggestion, and turn it into action, into an app that is 100% focused on you, the user. An application that we made together with you, which is made by you. This is a first big step and milestone in this bank that we are building together, the one that thinks less like a bank and more like you”, commented Guillermo Lasso Alcívar, Executive Vice President of Banco Guayaquil during the presentation of the apps.

Based on this, the new application presents various improvements and functionalities such as:

  1. Greeting: Now the client decides how he wants the apps tell you, it is not the bank calling you by the name registered in the Civil Registry. Example: Instead of saying “good morning, María Gabriela (full name)”, now greet in a personalized way: First Gaby.
  2. Favorites: Frequent users of apps they always have registered accounts to which they transfer more frequently or those monthly payments such as basic services, payments to service companies, etc. with the new apps now the user can choose those frequent transactions and put them in favorites so that he can find them faster.
