The association issued a statement this Thursday to communicate how banking entities will attend between November 1 and 3.
This Thursday the Association of Banks of Ecuador (Asobanca) indicated that during the days of the holiday the banks will serve mainly through four service channels.
On Monday 1, Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 November, which are the holidays for the Day of the Dead and the Independence of Cuenca, customer service will be through: “the ATM network; Non-Bank Correspondents located in stores, bazaars, pharmacies and other locations throughout the country; virtual banking platforms or mobile applications and; in person, in those banking agencies that have delayed hours ”.
The association also said that it is recommended that depending on the bank of each user who needs to go to an agency, review the special service hours that each can establish.
Although he stated that currently 90% of banking services are available through the digital channel of each entity.
“We remind clients that using digital channels is preferable to using cash. Virtual banking allows transactions to be carried out in an agile and secure manner, 24 hours a day ”, Asobanca pointed out in its statement. (I)
