The objective of the Highway to the USA program is to accompany and advise Ecuadorian entrepreneurs in the process of accessing the United States market.
There are ten entrepreneurs who start their way to export products to the United States. This as a result of the US Highway program, which aims to accompany and advise Ecuadorian entrepreneurs in the process of accessing the US market.
The Ecuadorian American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Quito, in coordination with the Alliance for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (AEI), promote this initiative.
On October 12, stage one of the program began with the development of the first Multisectoral Conference by Mario Suárez, AmCham’s strategic ally in the North American country.
The ten enterprises belong to the food, cosmetics and clothing sector. They must go through four stages:
- Etapa I: Keynote conferences with experts on export issues to gain a deeper understanding of the US market, access requirements, customs, logistics and setup options for operation in the US.
- Stage II: Diagnostic process for participating entrepreneurs with personalized advice spaces.
- Stage III: Execution process of the commercial strategy that includes the identification of the market niche, the adaptation of the products to the fulfillment of access requirements, the logistics and commercial business model.
- Stage IV: Development of a virtual business conference with potential clients from the United States.
The program culminates in December, at the end of the business conference, in which it is expected that the enterprises that successfully complete the four stages will be able to export their products to the United States.
