The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) approved the financial transfer of the Program for the Generation of Inclusive Social Employment Work Peru in favor of the District Municipality of Villa El Salvador. The amount amounts to S/ 83 million 194,000.
According to the ministerial resolution published today in the official gazette A Peruvian manthese transferred resources are for the payment of the total contribution of the signed agreement in order to execute the immediate intervention activity.
In addition, the MTPE expects to generate a total of 40 temporary jobs thanks to the execution of the immediate intervention activity in the district of Villa El Salvador.
Work Peru
The Work Peru program aims to generate temporary employment for the working-age population over 18 years of age, who are in a situation of poverty and extreme poverty, or partially or totally affected by natural disasters or emergencies, and women victims of any form or context of violence.
Employment is generated from the co-financing or financing of immediate intervention activities or basic, social and economic infrastructure projects, intensive in unskilled labor. The activities and/or projects are presented by municipalities and regional governments.
