The Basque Government presents a platform at the MWC to support expanding technological communities

Startups, investors or ecosystem agents can add the details of their organization and improve their profile by providing open access to data for the entire community.

The Basque Government has presented at the Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona the Map of the Basque Entrepreneurship Ecosystem, a online database containing up-to-date information on 900 startups technology-based and innovative located in Euskadi.

Arantxa Tapia, Minister of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government has been in charge of giving all the details about the new platform Whoops! Euskadi.

The project, promoted by the SPRI Group, is specifically designed to support expanding tech communitiesproviding valuable information, giving visibility to the startup and to all the agents of the ecosystem and positioning the territory as a hub for entrepreneurship.

The startupinvestor or ecosystem agent, they can add the details of their organization and improve their profile by providing open access to data for the entire community.

The platform is developed in collaboration with Dealroom, the leading provider of data on technology ecosystems in Europe and the world.

For the Basque Government, this tool will improve the connectivity of the local Basque ecosystem and will help position the territory on the international map as “a new and promising” space for “advanced entrepreneurship.”

Euskadi is a hub important for technological entrepreneurship, since it has more than 900 new active technology-based and/or innovative companies based in it, as well as international entrepreneurship programs with the capacity to attract startup of all the world.
