Osinergmin: fuels are trading lower this week in Peru, but LPG remains volatile

The Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin) published the reference price per gallon of the main fuels distributed in our country. Averaged period corresponds to the lifting of sanctions for loading and unloading in La Pampilla, by Repsol, and at a dollar exchange rate that went from S/ 3.79 to S/ 3.76.

According to the regulatory body, the Gasohol 97 went from costing S/ 10.73 to S/ 10.71, while the Gasohol 95 it fell from S/ 10.56 to S/ 10.54. Meanwhile, the gashol 90 went from S/ 10.29 to S/ 10.28, while the Gasohol 84 it fell from S/ 9.81 to S/ 9.80.

As for the industrial ones, used mainly in boilers, ovens and burners, the Industrial Oil 6 evaluated by Osinergmin had the most marked decrease of the day, going from S/ 8.18 to S/ 8.07, while the Industrial Oil 500 it did the same by going from S/ 8.14 to S/ 8.05.

Also, the Diesel B5 0 – 2500ppmone of the fuels with the best performance in the automotive fleet, went from S/ 11.47 to S/ 11.45, while Diesel B5 2500 – 5000ppm it rose slightly from S/ 10.26 to 10.27. Finally, the reference price of the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) It went from costing S/ 3.11 to S/ 3.21 per kilogram.

It should be noted that LPG and Diesel B5 for vehicle use are products that are included within the scope of the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund (FEPEC).

Osinergmin publishes every Monday the reference price of fuels at the plant based on the average of the last two weeks. New prices should be reflected in the coming days in the faucets throughout the country, including those of PetroperĂș and Repsol, when their inventories end at each station.

Meanwhile, the world is torn between economic sanctions for Russia after its invasion of Ukraine, and an international oil barrel price of around 100 dollars, both in WTI, from the United States, and Brent, from the United Kingdom. Its effects should still be seen in Peru from next week.
